  • Wanted Alive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to preserving and nurturing human life from its earliest stages in the womb. We empower expectant parents by connecting them with essential resources in their local communities, ensuring that financial limitations do not prevent the embrace of an unborn child. Through targeted education, awareness initiatives, and supportive referrals, we promote informed choices that honor the value of life and the profound joys of parenthood. Our work spans the United States and underserved regions of Kenya, where we seek to interrupt cycles of abandonment, poverty, and unintended pregnancies by equipping individuals—particularly youth—with accurate knowledge and opportunities for responsible decision-making.

  • Wanted Alive emerged in 2019 from the compassionate vision of its founder and co-founder, a dedicated husband-and-wife team who also direct another non-profit providing safe, clean drinking water and basic necessities to those in poverty. During their travels to areas such as Bolivia in South America, they encountered the hardships faced by young expectant mothers, including limited access to medical care and general support. They became aware of unsafe abortions occurring in these rural settings, which placed vulnerable teen mothers at significant risk of harm due to inadequate resources and guidance.

The president of Wanted Alive has held a deep affection for children since her own childhood, marked by a nurturing and motherly spirit. From a young age, she eagerly anticipated the classic stork carrying an unwanted baby to her doorstep, reflecting an enduring desire to protect and care for the vulnerable. Although she has not been blessed with biological children of her own, she derives great fulfillment from advocating for children, guiding them, and safeguarding them through life's challenges. Her husband applied his organizational skills to establish the entity, and supportive friends have contributed their expertise and resources to launch and sustain this impactful work. As a grassroots effort led by ordinary individuals driven by genuine concern, Wanted Alive addresses the pervasive ignorance regarding human life in the womb and highlights available avenues for parents to love and protect their unborn children.

  • In the United States, decisions regarding abortion are frequently influenced by economic pressures, insufficient education on fetal development, and limited support systems for expectant parents. Many unplanned pregnancies arise amid concerns about affordability and preparedness, often leading to choices rooted in fear rather than full awareness. Accessible referrals to services such as free ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, and counseling can provide crucial affirmation of life and clarity in decision-making.

In Kenya, particularly in slums and rural areas near Nairobi, poverty, restricted healthcare access, and cultural patterns exacerbate these issues. Abortion remains largely restricted under law, except in limited circumstances, contributing to a reliance on unsafe practices that pose severe risks to maternal health. Adolescent pregnancies are common due to inadequate reproductive health education and life-planning resources, perpetuating cycles of poverty, abandonment, and family instability. Studies indicate that unsafe abortions disproportionately affect young and rural women, resulting in significant complications and contributing to maternal morbidity. By offering education and direct support, we aim to mitigate these factors and foster healthier outcomes for mothers and children.

  • We walk alongside expectant parents, providing personal counsel and a supportive community. For clinical needs beyond our current scope—such as diagnostic ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, and adoption coordination—we serve as a trusted bridge, connecting families to reputable local partners who share our commitment to honoring life. We envision establishing a mobile office in the future to deliver these services directly, along with compassionate counseling, to reach those in greatest need.

We are in the process of building comprehensive educational programs targeted at youth in public schools and community groups, both in the United States and in Kenya. These initiatives will deliver instruction on human development in the womb, healthy relationships, and informed life choices, serving as an effective preventive strategy against abortion-minded perspectives and encouraging prosperous futures. We are actively seeking sponsorship to support the development and delivery of these programs, enabling their implementation in local public schools and youth groups where they can reach and empower more young people.

In Kenya, we currently seek sponsorship to enable over 40 children (whose parents are in our program) in underserved slums and rural communities to attend local schools. By supporting their education, we also sustain their mothers and unborn siblings through provisions of food and shelter, safeguarding family stability and reducing vulnerability to abandonment or harm.

We extend our commitment to family support beyond pregnancy by offering guidance to parents at any stage who may struggle to find joy and confidence in their role. Recognizing that many young parents today lack access to maternal or paternal guidance due to various circumstances, we seek to connect them with experienced, prosperous-aged parents who can provide mentorship, wisdom, and practical advice on nurturing children, fostering healthy family dynamics, and cultivating lasting joy in parenting. This peer-to-peer model draws inspiration from established community-based approaches that emphasize nonjudgmental support, shared experiences, and relational encouragement to strengthen families and promote resilience.

Additionally, we aspire to positively influence social media by sharing uplifting parenting tips, evidence-based ideas, and encouraging content that highlights the rewards of parenthood, healthy child development, and life-affirming family choices. Through thoughtful posts, short videos, and interactive resources, we aim to counter negative narratives, build supportive online communities, and inspire parents worldwide to embrace their roles with hope and purpose.

  • We aspire to expand our reach and sustainability in meaningful ways. We are actively seeking partners and sponsors to help us achieve the following objectives—many of which require modest investments to create a massive, life-saving impact:

    • Global Youth Education Programs ($2,000): We are bringing life-affirming curricula to public schools and youth groups in both the U.S. and Kenya. This investment covers the training and materials needed to get us started in equipping young people with accurate knowledge of fetal development and healthy relationship choices—the ultimate preventative for uprooting abortion-mindedness.

    • Mobile Ultrasound & Counseling Unit ($60,000 – $120,000): To reach those who lack access to life-affirming resources in the USA, we aim to convert a used bus or RV into a mobile medical office. This unit will deliver ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, and compassionate counseling directly to areas in need, bringing clarity and support to families in crisis.

    • Sustain Education for 40+ Children ($4,000/year): We currently maintain over 40 children from underserved Kenyan slums and rural communities in local schools. For less than the cost of one private school tuition in the U.S., we can secure the protected and promising futures of an entire student body, effectively breaking intergenerational poverty cycles.

    • Official Kenyan NGO Registration ($500): To amplify our impact and operate with full legal liberty within Kenya, we are finalizing our government registration. This small step allows for more effective interventions to address abuse, abandonment, and poverty through direct community empowerment.

    • Establish a Sanctuary for the Vulnerable ($60,000): Our primary vision for Kenya is to purchase land to establish a safe, sustainable community. This "Haven of Hope" will provide a secure environment for endangered women and children, offering them the stability needed to heal, learn, and grow without the threat of exploitation or extreme poverty.

  • As a volunteer-led organization, we are a committed group dedicating our time and talents to provide the encouragement and connections that parents often need. We affirm that every child represents a unique miracle with immeasurable potential—Every child is a "Being" with a purpose to fulfill. When a life is destroyed, we lose the possibility of what that person might have become—a doctor, an inventor, or a friend who might one day save our own life.

The perspectives of both mothers and fathers merit respect and support, unhindered by isolation or coercion. If you are navigating challenges as an expectant parent or caregiver, please contact us; you are not alone, and we are prepared to offer guidance.

Join us in building a foundation of hope. From the schools in the U.S. to the rural villages of Kenya, we are raising up a generation that values the sacredness of life and has the resources to protect it. Education is the cure; your partnership is the catalyst
